I have used it a couple of times, I liked Shampoo Plus a little better though.

Tuck, i swear your reviews on products have gotten me to buy them lol since then ive already bought 2 gallons of shampoo plus the bottle of ASD..and i love it..the thing i love about shampoo plus is that once i start washing a panel..the foam doesnt die away..when i used gold class the foam would start to die away, and i didnt like that..i know suds arent the key to a good wash..but my point is that the suds didnt last long with gold class so it would start to streak..shampoo plus doesnt do that..foam lasts all the way through..but im curious as to how #62 holds up ?

I use a foam gun, so foaming in a bucket is hard for me to say.

I am not sure streaking and suds are related either. #62 does rinse off pretty easy it seems, which helps with streaking.

you see, the thing that i have noticed is, when the suds last a long time it really seems to help with streaking..what i mean is that..when i use shampoo plus, the suds last a really long time and they keep slowly running down the car keeping the paint covered in soapy solution and not streaking..thats just waht ive noticed, and it works extremley well for me..with some soaps, you can wash the left side of the car, go over to the right side, and when you come back to the left the soap has already streaked, suds are gone.,..with shampoo plus this doesnt happen, when i come back to the other side, the suds are still alive and ready to rinse..it doesnt dry out fast

                Maybe they are related?

But the length of time it takes for a soap to dry out could be related.. but that also bring in temperature, etc...

I dunno.. I am pretty sure I have let #62 dry a bit before, then rinse, and at a minimum of a UQD/UQW wipe after, have seen no bad results.

Streaking is maybe caused by the product drying, and then subsequently leaving a chemical residue on the surface. The suds may, or may not be relevent in terms of streaking. As was already mentioned, the amount of time it takes for the product to dry may be a big factor in terms of streaking (outside temp, other factors). Pretty much all products have a differen't chemical makup, and will have pros & cons, thus perform differently.

I have used NXT, Gold Class and 62.

All are excellent washes. I would rate NXT as the best cleaner of the three, GC as having the most lubricity and 62 as the best overall for cleaning and lubricity. I think NXT and 62 seem to rinse a little more easily than GC, but, IMHO, GC leaves the best finish.

I can't really speak to the sudsing ability of each - I add my wash after I've filled the bucket because I don't want a lot of suds. I'm just concerned about lubricity and cleaning.

+1. I buy 62 my the gallon. I'd have to go back and search for an old post of mine when I compared sudsing but I think 62 suds the most followed by NXT and then GC but sudsing doesn't equate to cleaning: it's more of just a visual thang. I love em all!

Use 62 as well just one question for Mike.
Why do you have to shake it before you use it. As far as I know it's the only Meguiars car soap that you have to shake.

                              Just good practice I think...

Never shake it myself though, maybe I should.
