Yea, rotary will definitely cut better then DA, but I don't even wanna go that way until I get some hours behind a DA!

From what I've learned thus far on this forum, Meguiar's yellow polishing pad will basically get everything done via 1 or multiple passes. Then just finish off with a black finishing pad for the wax/sealant. For extreme swirls/oxidation, the maroon cutting pad can be used.

EDIT: I think the maroon pad is for rotary only...so I guess the yellow and black pads will be it for the DA. That combo should get majority of defects removed tho.

Clutch is right, we do not recommend the W7XXX pads for use on the G110v2 or other D/A. The aggressiveness of the pad tends to haze paint when used on a D/A tool. That doesn't mean you should NEVER use it, but for long term use, or full vehicle correction it's not your best choice.

If the only tool you have is a D/A and you've got a stubborn defect that is pushing the limits of the D/A, then stepping up to a cutting pad for that area may give you the extra punch you need. But odds are you will need to follow with a polishing pad in order to remove the haze.
