  • Blackfire Wet Diamond VS. M20 (M21)

has anyone on here done a comparison of the two? I don't have any wet diamond around, but I have heard good things about it. Just wanted to know how it compares to the Meguiar's sealant. Thanks

BFWD is slicker to the touch than M21, but M21 sheets water a whole lot better. Both look good on a well prepped car. I'd say go with M21. It's an all around great product and gives excellent durability. Plus you can save some cash.

Been a long time since I used M21 so I can't recall for certain but I think one of my pet peeves is that it stains trim (although I'm not 100% certain).

      Both are great LSPs IMO.

Wet Diamond is without doubt slicker (by a lot).

Both go on very easy but I think Wet Diamond comes off easier.

I *think* M21 can be applied with a rotary, Wet Diamond cannot.

Longevity would be about the same IME.

      Looks about the same.

If you are buying them on the USA, M21 is cheaper.

thanks guys, I was in need of purchasing more sealant, and I think I'll go with the M21 and maybe get a sample size bottle of the Wet Diamond if I can find one, just to compare

I haven't tried Wet Diamond, but have read a lot of positive reviews. However, in your thread title you also ask about M20. Having recently used it, I can say it goes and comes off incredibly easy and, IMHO, leaves a much slicker finish than M21. There are also those who will argue that it lasts longer than both M21 and NXT. We'll see...

I do want to try some Wet Diamond, though.
