  • polycharger M16 , aham ...

well got 5 tins of M16 wax... and i was thinking why not mix with some polymer booster , polycharger!
i took one tin , put it in water on cooktop and when was melt i did some math and add polycharger ch2 and start mix.
one tin 11 oz, for each oz of wax, u add 2 measure of polycharger ch2. easy!
didn`t cheese or anything like that looks like it mix well. i put the tin on side and now is in the fridge to get level and solid.
i will see in the morning how it looks and i may do some test soon.
i use polycharger with klasse and works great.
it should improve m16 duration , may help a little in easy on easy off, and should give more "glass" in overall look on car.
    pic sooon ...

I'm excited to hear the results. This may be good.

That tin might go bad pretty soon. Polycharging a product reduces its shelf life dramatically. You are only suppose to mix what you are going to use. Products that come polycharged from production are different(example: Ultima PGP, 4* UPP). Direct from polychargers website.

"Do not mix more wax than you plan to use in 48 hours. After two days a boosted wax mixture must be thrown away, as the wax will thicken or harden in the bottle."

I too will be interested in how the polycharging improves the durability of this. Keep us posted.

Perhaps thats only a concern with liquid products

i took the tin out of fridge in the morning and by evening is was a light paste , is more like a liquid, i may put it in a bottle. m16 looks green
i apply one coat on my car but just tomorrow i see the result , got dark on me. i remove it with onr in clay-lube dilution to speed up the process.
not sure if will be a good test because in weekend i just put some klasse SG on it , so i may try on a different car to see the result , but i may take a pic tomorrow and post , i saw a improvement.

                    PICTURES update

here is the "paste" , 70% of it is liquid , and some 30 % is paste .
car has been klasse sg few days ago so it may not be a good test , but after m16 i think is more darker than with sg only.

I think it's an Audi A6, not a Passat. If what others say is true about the PolyCharger shelf life, I'm sad to see the wasted product. A tin of M16 should last many, many applications.

will see , i may put it in a nxt2 empty bottle , is more liquid than paste , and i see i have to agitate the bottle to use it. also air will be limited when open to get liquid out.
