I really like the look of Nxt 2.0 but I have heard that M21 keeps its look longer. I have never used m21. I know the products are pretty much the same except for m21 can be used with a rotary. Whats your thoughts on the difference, if any of the durability of these products.

Re: m21(2.0)vs. NXT(2.0)
I don't know if you will notice any difference in looks between NXT 2.0 and M21 2.0. With products so incredibly similar it really would require a discerning eye and personal preference.
I can say that I do use M21 2.0 almost exclusively for all color vehicles and am very pleased with the product.

I liked the original M21, but for some reason M21 2.0 keeps streaking on me no matter what color car I use it on. Pretty frustrating to say the least. I have a 64oz jug that's just sitting around.2006 San Remo Red WRX TR

Use NXT 2.0 if its only for your own vehicle, M21 2.0 so you can buy in bulk. Its basically the same product.James - 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais

Re: m21(2.0)vs. NXT(2.0)
I have some M21 v1.0 and it always treated me well, much better than NXT v1.0 from what I have seen. Having said that, I've been reaching for Collinite or FK1000P for my LSP recently. Being in grad school / working full-time / running a business, I have little time to wash and wax every couple weeks.NOTE: Post count does not reflect actual detailing knowledge.

Re: m21(2.0)vs. NXT(2.0)
You shouldn't notice any difference in appearance between the two. The only difference is that the Consumer NXT 2.0 is only for use by hand, orbital buffer, and DA, while the Mirror Glaze counterpart can be applied by hand or by power tools, including rotary buffer. The Mirror Glaze #21 is specially formulated to withstand heat produced by the rotary tool.

I'm told both are actually the same save for some cosmetic differences to differentiate between the consumer line and the professional line.

Thanks for the great info. Probably the older versions that I was reading about. My car is black and I really like the look nxt gives. Whats your thoughts on nxt topped with M26? Do you think it would add more depth to the finish? Also my car was polished about a month ago so it was properly prepped. I know that is most of what your look comes from. I have never tried this but I really want to try m26 also.

Thanks for that feedback. I was wondering if that is because M21(2) has more oils and so the sealant spreads better. Just trying to understand as I have an older vehicle and appreciate systems that minimize "working over" the finish. I love NXT.....Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts.
