    Re: Help clear my confussion

While all three are quite similar and would be used for the same basic purpose - the removal of light dust, etc from the surface without scratching the paint - there are some differences:

Last Touch is a bulk package only product that was developed for use in high volume situations. It can be used as a basic mist & wipe product that not only removes light dust and fingerprint smudges, but it can also be diluted 1:1 with water and used as a clay lubricant.

M35 Final Inspection is a body shop safe mist & wipe product that is safe to use in an environment where fresh paint is being sprayed. When safe dust removal is called for in a body shop, this is the ONLY Meguiar's mist & wipe product that should be used.

M135 Synthetic Spray Detailer is very similar to Ultimate Quik Detailer in that it contains the same hydrophobic polymer technology and as such it leaves that little extra bit of protection, gloss and water repelling characteristic.

All three can be used as often as you wish without risk of buildup. None of them are a substitute for a properly applied wax, and all of them will perform best when used on a properly waxed vehicle.

#135 would also have the restriction of not being for claying.

So Final Inspection would be the most versatile?

In what way? Did you need a body shop safe product?

Don't need body shop safe. Need a clay lube and something to clean up after compounding and polishing.

              You need Last Touch.

I use Last Touch because it has the highest lubricity out of all of Meguiar's QD sprays on particularly dusty cars that have to be wiped down. It also works fantastically well as a clay lube (50/50), to remove fresh water spots (full strength is best), to break up compound or polish (50/50 is usually fine), and I even go as far as using it at the same ratio as ONR as a rinseless wash agent.

It works extremely well for me for all of those jobs.

Can you use it to prime pads like M34 ?

To be perfectly honest, I am not sure what the official response is on that matter, but I have used it when diluted 50/50 for that purpose in the past.

                  Seemed to work for me...

For your applications. I would agree, Last Touch is your best option. I use it all the time. Great stuff.

Does anyone else use Last Touch 1:1 as a mist and wipe product? I have tried it full strength and it seemed a little tough to wipe clean. When 1:1, it seems to work better for me at least.

                      Anyone else have similar experience?
