This stuff is amazing. Really glad I tried it, a nice change from NXT 2.0. Both are great products but I love the pop and gloss this product produces.

    THE BANANA SMELL IS AWESOME!!

Definitely one of the best smelling Meg's Products

Not necessarily better than M21 (NXT), it's just different. I will post pics later.

    Here was my process

Hey Megafast, try topping M21 (NXT) with M26.

I think you will like it, it is one of my favorite combos.

    M26 is great stuff!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

Will I still get water beading/sheeting like NXT?

thats the downside, once you top it with M26. You may lose some of those Hydrophobic properties.

maybe try UQW after M26, seems like the only way to get em back.

Very true. Also UQD does it too.

Yeah, M26 on black is superbly shiny.

I recently used some NXT 2.0 on my black Nissan Maxima. The result was nowhere near that of M26. That was expected.

This is also why purists swear by pure wax, and not synthetic sealants.

I don't think you'll lose anything. See these two threads for some pics of NXT 2.0 topped with #26:

The following pics were taken after a rain shower - this is after NXT 2.0 topped with #26.

An excellent combo, IMO. Since M21 is very similar to NXT 2.0, I imagine the results would be the same, although I have not had the chance to top M21 with #26 yet.

                    Re: M26 YellowWax

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, M26 topped over NXT 2.0 doesn't yield the same kind of lustre and pop as M26 being used alone. At least on a black car...

However, I will still use NXT 2.0 on my black daily driver because of its long lasting protection.

I dont know if you guys saw it, but I posted a thread a few days ago where I buffed out a Mustang Cobra and finished with M26.

Very big difference bewtween M26 and NXT on black.

                        Hi, Nick.

I typically do not believe photographs. What do you see through your eyes that is different between M26 and NXT on black?

                          Hey Al,

On that detail I grabbed M26 instead of M21. So I used that and I just think it looks a lot different on back compared to when I use M21 or NXT on black.

Kinda hard to say , but maybe:

                          a warmer glow?

                          more dark and reflective?

                          Maybe its just me.

While you won't necessarily see the water being pushed off as strongly, it still will sheet off, and will still form water beads, and will still cause water to fling off your car when driving and it is wet.

Some of the tightest water beeding I have ever seen on my truck was with M16, which does not contain hydrophobic polymers.

While I would agree with akimel that pictures are not necessarily believable, I would have to agree with Tuck that M26 does look different that NXT or M21 and not necessarily just on black.

The easiest type of paint to tell the difference on would be paint that has fleck to it. With NXT/21 you are going to have a shinier and more reflective mirror like finish to the paint. With M26, it will look a little more clear, as in you can see deeper down into the fleck and the paint looks like it has more depth to it (or warmth and glow as tuck said).

That is why I like 26 on 21, because it eliminates the reflectiveness of 21 and makes it look deep and warm, but also makes the car look wetter than just 26 alone.

I can talk about it all I want and post a million pictures, but the only way to tell for sure is if you go ahead and do it and see what ya think of the two waxes and/or layering them.
