      I found colour X somewhat disappointing. It works and does what it does well...

      But I was expecting it to have a little more bite than it did. For a quick clean up of an otherwise fairly cleancar it works fine...

      I would not use it as an AIO on a somewhat neglected or severely neglected finish though. (I did a test to see what it had on a dark blue sunfire that lives outside year round, and has rarely been washed and never been waxed in its 8 year life.... Colour X by DA did ok, but I would definatly reach for a stronger AIO in the future. I think M66 would have been the ticket)

      Well, a few more "must have Items and i'll have to place an order.

      So far it's just Some Super Degreaser and some M66.

        Same here, I find color X is mostly well suited only for very light jobs. Even then, most cars that needs to be detailed are usually never just "light jobs" lol

        If M66 is stronger than Color X, but "weaker" than D151, then it would be a good middle ground for cars that don't need too much correction, but also needs more than a light cleaner.

          LOL, yeah those light jobs are few and far between.

          And for those severe cases with owners that don't wanna fork out the cash for a correction job, its nice to have something in your arsenal that will produce good results with minimal time and effort.

          M66 sounds like it might do just that... And with an additional coat of M26 or NXT (M21 2.0) I'm sure it'd do good.

            PRECISELY my point. Even though the customer doesn't want a full correction with the various steps, I'd still like to have better than average results to keep a good reputation. So if it means having to use an AIO, having a quick and easy one for fast correction is a time saver, and as we all know "Time is money."

              Absolutely!

              Sure... You could wash it and hit it with a coat of wax... Thats what 90% of the people want (or THINK they need). they don't understand the effort it take to restore a neglected finish.

              Their thinking is; "wax it and it will look like new"

              But any GOOD detailer would never do such a thing. Leave that for the 15 year old kids down the road.

              But us professionals have a reputation to uphold. And I would never let something out of my hands that I wasn't personally satified with..

              If you can use something like M66 and requires only a little more effort to apply, and returns MUCH greater results, with little to no added cost... WHY NOT?!!?

              I'm Glad to know M66 does work. I was afraid after trying Colour X that I would HAVE to do a 2 step to get decent results on more neglected finishes...

              This will save a lot of time!

                Did you follow the directions on the back of the gallon? I'm a bit confused as to when to stop working it and let it haze, it is diminishing abrasive afterall...

                  I've never used M66, but I'm going to make a guess that you need to work it until it's almost clear or very light where you don't feel any abrasion. And I don't think you need to let it haze, it beats the purpose of an AIO if you have to let it set up. I'd just wipe it off.

                  And don't quote me on this, but I think most "waxes" like carnauba really doesn't take long to set up because it just sits on top of the clear, not bond to it like a sealant does.

                    The instructions on the back label say to let it haze, its confusing. I just know that when I work with diminishing abrasives, you have to work them until just about clear, just enough so there is a very light film on the paint.

                    Anyone who has pretty good experience with M66 care to chime in?

                      What is the proper use for rotary method? Lol I'm sitting at a job with 9 oil trucks to detail and I need to know the proper use. I'll go start by hand in the tough I reach spots. Thank god for the iPhone I can look this up at work

                        I am still using M66 for just about every single one of my one step correction details, which are mainly on daily drivers. I really like using it on speed four or five on my G110 with a yellow pad. A little goes a long way, application and removal is extremly easy, it can perform a fair amount of correction, and durabilty is not that bad either.

                              I will. The plan is to use it on the Roush next Wednesday to make it somewhat presentable for back-to-back GTG's on the 21st and 22nd.
