  • A little confused on product differences

I'm a bit confused as to what to use for what. They all seem redundant to me, am I missing something here?

#6 Cleaner/Wax & #66 Quick Detailer - Aren't both of these "cleaner waxes" in the traditional sense containing no abrasives, and use chemical cleaning and only leaving some protection behind?

#3 Pro Machine Glaze, #5 New Car Glaze & #7 Show Car Glaze - It states all are ok for machine application, does one have an advantage over the other(s)?

#9 Swirl Remover, #82 Swirl Free Polish & #80 Professional Speed Glaze - All are a 4 on the aggressive scale...?

Re: A little confused on product differences

The cleaner/waxes you listed use both chemical cleaners and diminishing abrasives and come in different levels of aggressiveness.

The pure polishes you listed have formulas tweaked for best use in specific applications and the light cleaner/polishes are for light defect removal, M82 and M09 are pretty close in swirl removal performance with M09 available in a 16 ounce bottle it gets some Hard Parts store distribution while M82 comes in a quart and gallons and is distributed via PBE stores. M80 Speed Glaze is a different cleaner/polish all together and very popular for restoring old single stage paints.

Your questions are common, and you can find lots of information on all these topics here, Hot Topics

Because we cater to the refinishing industry, (body shops), and reconditioning industry, (detailing), as well as the consumer market, (enthusiasts), we do offer a lot of products and it can get confusing but that's what the forum is for as well as our detailing classes here in Irvine and also our standard setting customer care call center.
    • What are you working on?
    • What are you trying to accomplish? (Remove swirls and scratches?)
    • Are you working by hand or machine and if by machine what type?
