Where is the 'Full' line on Meguiar's detailer bottles? Is it the top of the colored label or the top of the neck?

I would assume it is the top of the neck. However, the Last Touch bottle has a line for 1:1 so I filled it to that line with water., dumped that into a measuring cup, and found it was 1 1/2 cups. So I filled the bottel to 3 cups, and it came to the top of the colored label

I then looked at the Super Degreaser bottle. the 10:1 line is barely below the colored label (about 1/8"). I can't believe that is 10:1 to the label top. I think it would be 10:1 to top of the neck

Does anybody know what the 'full line' is?

    Cheers

The full line should be at the ridge/seam on the bottle itself.

      Thanks Tim!

It seems a bit odd to leave that much head space. They should add a FILL line along the same line as the ratio lines.

The real trick ..remember this until the next time I have to fill bottles.

First thing to go is the memory..second thing..uh...what?

I like having that extra space on top. Since the pickup tube doesn't reach the very bottom of the bottle theres always some leftover. I usually pour this bit out into a plastic cup while i make up a new batch in the bottle. Then i can pour the little bit that's in the cup into the new batch and have a practically full bottle. This way no product is wasted.
