Today was time to tackle the Kiddie RIDSmobile (Toreador Red 2k Taurus) since Momma is away for a long weekend with one kid (and the camera so no pics
). It was pretty bad, especially the doors, so after a 62 wash and a mild clay using LT, I broke out the 83 since I have a full qt left. 83 was going too slow with the PC so I pulled out my sample of 105 and was prepared for a steep learning curve.
To my surprise, 105 was easier to use than 83 but just harder to wipe off. What worked was a mist of 34 AND a full circle of product around the outside of the pad for each application. In 2 passes, the 105 removed what 83 could not in 6! It looked like it finished LSP ready but I'm going to do a side by side tomorrow of 205, 80 and NXT 2.0 to see how I want to finish out.
I also tried out the 3" Buff and Shine polishing pads from ADS. They are a bit soft and squishy and not as agressive as the 8006 but it worked OK. I like the feel of the Megs yellow pads though. Now what to do with the 83...
