  • Questions about the New APC and Last Touch

I know the new APC has 2 dilution ratios, 10:1 for medium degreasing, and 4:1 for heavy. I take it that 10:1 I can use on the interior and for cleaning exterior plastic trim, correct? Will the 4:1 be strong enough for cleaning engines, tires, and wheels?

Also, for claying Last Touch must be diluted 1:1, correct? Does the Last Touch Bottle Have Dilution Ratios on it?

4:1 is good for engine degreasing and cleaning tires. Final Touch should be ready to use, no dilutions.

      Hey,

Meguiar's new APC works excellent at 4:1!!!

As for Meguiar's Last Touch, there are no specific dilution ratios for differing tasks per se, though some use it at 1:1 for claying only.

But when used as a QD for your paint, it should be used undiluted.

Personally, I prefer #34 Final Inspection for claying and reserve the Last Touch only for QD'ing.

Thanks a lot! I'm trying to cut back on the amount of products I carry on hand, and with the new D-Line it makes things pretty easy

George, the Last Touch bottle is marked for the 1:1 dilution for use as a clay lube. If you would like to try some of either the Last Touch or the new APC, PM me and we can get together as I have them both.

I tried the diluted 1:1 Last Touch Detail spray with mild detail clay (overspray clay). Worked like a champ!
