ok , so is this guy on another forum , he does all the cars with this combination:
    105/Burgandy Wool
i am wonder if this combination doesn`t cut too much. the guy doesn`t use any paint gauge, or not in pictures that he take , the cars looks great. he fallow with M105/Polishing Pad, and M205/Finishing Pad.

M105 on a wool pad is not a bad thing. As always, the least aggresive pad/product should be used first. But M105 and a wool pad is common.

BTW-What forum are you refering to? Would help if we could actually see what he's doing.

I agree with Nick, as long as you work up to that combo by testing from least aggressive to most aggressive it is not necessarily bad. Unfortunately most of the cars we work on end up needing the maroon wool pad w/ 105.

That's not to say that I'd polish the same car *twice* with this combo

autopia. org . i do test from less agressive up, but wonder how is the life of that clear coat who take 105 and burgundy wool. and are high end cars , with regular swirlmarks , is something normal this combo? i use wool with 105but to remove wetsand marks and did great , nice finish. but for regular swirlmarks and no deep scratches or wetsand marks i think is too much ....maybe i should practice more ))
