I have been (attempting) to use Body Solvent for the last few months and am on the verge of giving up. I have been applying it to areas of the car that have road tar on them as per the directions and it seems to have NO affect. I have even tried multiple applications to the same area with no improvement. Any ideas?

This solvent doesn't evaporate quick like other solvents do. Spray it on agitate and spray alittle more on and let it dwell.

Thanks for the followup. I will give it another try using the tips you suggested. I was using the product as a spray and wipe with less than a minute of dwell. What would you recommend as a good dwell time 2-3 minutes or more like 5-7 minutes. I usually start with bugs/ tar removal first then wash (unless job has a carpet cleaning). What do you work on while waiting. I would change my procedure.
Thanks!

Tried this stuff again today. After letting dwell for several minutes (maybe just a couple since I'm very impatient) I did notice better results. The solvent wouldn't touch really caked on bugs with out some extra scrubbing. I will let the product sit on longer next time. I think this product has potential.
