Hello NVCobra,
I'm an avid user of #83 and I'm not exactly sure about what you're describing. Is it dust from the removed dry product or are you describing splatter marks that were thrown by machine application?
Let us know and hopefully we can help!

Hi NVCobra,
For removing the little dots off of glass, I use Meguiar's Glass cleaner in the Detailer line, on components like windshield washer arms, review mirrors, etc, I use a terry cloth towel as the nap helps to break its hold. For paint, I use Quik Detailer and a microfiber polishing cloth or a terry cloth towel.
This little dot's of product can be difficult to remove.

Hey Brad,
The splatter usually occurs if one lifts the PC while it is still spinning. The sling is nowhere near as bad as what the rotary can do, but the product (spots) can be a little difficult to remove.
My suggestion would be to use a pressure washer at a safe distance and re-wash the car. Or, as Mike suggested, use Quik Detailer to remove the spots.

That was my suspicion but I wasn't sure. My garage walls can proove that I know a thing or two about splatter marks...Nothing like accidently bumping a switch after picking up a line of polish with a Makita.

thanks guys... Yea its the dusting when the 83 starts to dry as im buffing. It starts throwing the little specks everywhere and they stick right on to the black surface really good. Ive tried QD and its really hard to get them. Its not from lifting the PC , ive done that a few times to,lolJohn 3:16

yeah the wash seemed to work fine! at first i though it would smudge, or look bad, but that wasn't the case. i sprayed what i could off with hose nossle, then tried to pour (no nossle) to try and sheet it off, most of it was gone, i then washed the car, and it looked nice and clean, no power or dusting anywhere.
as i am working i use QD and a MF towel, to clean the next area that i'm working on.Last edited by cheapthrills; Oct 9, 2004, 05:28 AM.
