  • Applying and removing #16

Just aquired a can of #16 and about to apply some before winter takes hold. I have 2 coat of NXT on it already, should I just apply it with a foam applicator and then wipe off with a MF or use my PC with finishing pad to spread it out evenly and then wipe off with MF, what is the best way ?

Either would be fine, I'm sure. Just put it on real thin (some say the PC is better for a thin, uniform coat) and do a couple panels at a time and you'll be set. It's good stuff!

Either way, just remember a little goes a long way and this wax sets up fairly hard. So if you apply a thick coat it will be difficult to remove.

I always find it interesting how popular this wax is considering it came out in 1951...
