IMO, its superior to po85rd. I have been using Menzerna products for almost a year, then I switched to 3m ultrafina which also imo blew away po85rd, but 205 can cut way more aggressive(be used as a 1-step) and it finishes down better then both of the mentioned other polishes. Not to mention its way cheaper! And yes it is most definitely DA friendly, its what it was designed to work on mostly.

I had been playing with PO85RD. Where you use 205, what pads are you using to finish? Meg's Black or LC Black like with PO85RD?

I picked up some 105/205 at DF and plan to test the 205 to do very light correction and gloss.

Hey bunky with the 85rd use a finishing pad ,Blue will work fine and work the 85rd slowly.I used the 205 today for just one panel also with a blue pad so far so good. You can try and use the lc black pad then jewel with a blue.Or just try the blue.If you use the 105 on a white pad the use the 205 on a gray just going to have to find the right combo if not useing the Megs pads

I have used both black and blue pads with PO85RD with my UDM. I am looking for that ultimate gloss (maybe not possible with a DA). I will try 205 on a section to see if I get better gloss with a soft buff black. I am just wondering if my paint is too hard for PO85RD despite several sessions on the same panel.

I am happy with the correction using another polish (most swirls are gone) and has decent gloss but I think there is a very light haze (or so I think) that I really want to remove. LSP ready by most standards. If you look directly in the paint it is clear but seems to have some flare on some lights so I am trying to get it better.

Hey Presidential... You wouldn't happen to be a Member of RPS are you?!?

So the LC blue work well with 205? I have some coming and can't wait to try it out. My test mule will be a 11 year old Black truck that is in great condition for its age and has only 100,000 Kms on the clock, but is SWIRL CITY!!!

              Should be fun.

Have not found a good thread though that states wich LC pads get the best results. Most seem to be using Meguiars pads

Bunky, what car are you working on?
Did you try to "He-Man" it a little like Todd did @ the Meguir's class?
