For removing light swirls/scratches with a PC, I was thinking a lake county CCS white pad. Thoughts? How will this finish down on a metallic black paint? LSP ready?
The white polishing pad can do the trick and you can finish out very nice to go directly to your LSP.
Now if you are looking for more gloss then follow with a finishing pad with the same product M205 and you'll notice the difference in gloss and depth and then apply your LSP
I do not know Lake Country Pads, but something like a polishing pad or a finishing pad.
I asked a similar question but about Meguiars Pads, so here is the thread. M205 Application

Thanks for the help!
I'm sure it would be LSP ready because on my cars the 205 didn't touch the light scratches/swirls. However, I know it does on a lot of cars.
Also, it's intended to be a step right before wax, so yes, certainly I think in almost all situations you'll go right to wax. It even says this on the packaging I believe. I'm sure you'll like it!
