Re: Paint cleaner
M07 is not a paint cleaner. It is classified as a "pure polish, along with M03, M05, and M81.
Meguiar's offers a number of cleaning/polishes in their professional line. It all depends on how aggressive you want the product to be. On the least aggressive end of the spectrum, you might consider M09, M82, and M205. I recall one thread where someone asked if the professional line included a product equivalent to DC1 Paint Cleaner. I believe that #9 was recommended by one or more folks. Perhaps others might have some better suggestions for you.

Re: Paint cleaner
In the pro line M02 and M105 can be used by hand, DA or rotary. M04, M84, M85 and M95 I believe are recommended for use by rotary, only. M80 and M83 are considered cleaner/polishes. You can research different cleaners and their application at Meguire's Direct.

Re: Paint cleaner
You might also consider M80 as a substitute for DC1. See this thread: What's the best "mild" cleaner in the Pro Line?
Note ScottWax's counsel:
"Actually, I would go with #80 Speed Glaze if you are working by hand. I used it by hand the other day on a black BMW since I didn't have a access to a plug for my PC. #80 breaks down pretty fast by hand and really leaves the paint in excellent shape, enough so that you can go straight to your wax/sealant."Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

M02 might be a good choice because it's versatile and it comes in a 16 ounce bottle, with this size you could at least try it out and make sure it's working for your application before investing into an entire gallon.
What are you working on and what do you usually use a paint cleaner for?

Re: Paint cleaner
Mike, thanks for your recommendation, I think will go for M09.
I usually use DC1 after claying(3 months) or before waxing(twice a month), just want to make sure paint surface is clean.
I'm working on orbital with W8006 or sometimes by hand with W0004.

When removing, use a clean, soft plush microfiber and don't worry about removing every single little trace of polish, just get the most of it off and the apply your wax.
Not sure if you've ever seen this thread in our Hot Topics forum so here it is for your reading pleasure...

Re: Paint cleaner
Thanks again Mike & everyone in MOL.
Actually I've gone throught most of the threads in MOL before I join this forum, it took 3 months for me to read, really enjoy reading in MOL & gain a lot of detailing knowledge....also burn my wallet......he.he...
In my coutry 16/32 oz products are very expensive, so I prefer to buy gallon size to share with my "meguiar's" friends. eg M26 16oz=US$20 but a gallon only cost me US$60, really a big save.
Hope you all can understand my simple english.
