  • #62 Car Wash vs Gold Class

    Hey Guys,

Whats the difference bewtween these two products. I was thinking about purchasing some as my local Sherwin Williams has it for a decent price. Does it leave a better looking finish than Gold Class Car Wash?

Is #62 slicker and does it have more lubricity?

Did some researching on the forum and couldnt find all that much on it.

    Thanks in advance

I do know from some reading that it is safe for fresh paint and is paint shop safe.

Not sure on the dilution ratio though (1oz per gallon or what).

It is high foaming, for your truck and how careful you are with it as it's new, it may be the ticket for you.

    Hopefully others chime in.

Everything except Hyper Wash is 1 oz per gallon.

How much do they have it for? I have one near buy.

      I've never used #62.

I have it and it is worth the cost. Slick comes to mind with 62. Lube wise it's twice as good as Gold Class. It's also twice the price of Gold Class but, like I said it's worth the cost.
ADS also sells samples I would go that route before buying it. As blue zero said one oz. per gallon to mix.

Well it will be 2 years old in May, but i like to keep it swirl free and was just seeing if there was anything better when it came to slickness and lubricity. Just lookin to reduce the potential of instilling swirls or scratches, It is winter now so my truck gets literally coated in salt. I already have good quality washing/drying tools and I use the right techiniques for washing. Just looking to see if i could improve even more with a different wash.

Thanks for the quick responses guys

GC may be a bit slicker than 62 although I've never actually done a side by side. 62 suds much more and rinses better even if you let it dry. It cleans better than GC but a touch less than NXT. All 3 are great.
