  • M26 = Gold Class?

Just making sure, is M26 the professional line's version of Gold Class wax? I have been considering using M26 along with M7, but I have a half bottle of GC, and as I exhaust it, I just want to make sure that M26 will actually do better. I will apply via G110 if that makes a difference.

#26 is not the same product as Gold Class - That said #26 does a very nice job and will leave great results.

Thanks, Brandon for clarifying that. I think I will try M26 after the GC runs out. Does it protect any longer than GC does?

        Re: M26 = Gold Class?

This MOL poll indicates that M26 is the most popular carnauba wax among MOL users. The synthetic sealants (NXT & #21), however, blow out all other contenders, together capturing over 67% of the field.

My understanding is that unlike Gold Class M26 does not contain cleaning agents. It therefore requires a well-prepped surface for effectual bonding.

Your protection a wax provides depends on alot of things, environment where you park and so on.... I will say before NXT came around #26 hands down gave me the best results (in my eyes), its very easy to use and looks great! I still keep #26 around and use it from time to time just depends on the mood. Also another advantage is that it dries clear and is not suppose to leave any white film behind on your plastic trim.

M07 and then M26 is a great combination and has never failed me on any car. The polishing oils in M07 and carnuaba in M26 provides a great looking finish on any car.

Great information guys. I prefer the looks provided by GC (M26 should be the same or better). I'm really looking forward to trying #26 now - thanks!
