Help me understand Hyper Dressing vs. Water Based Dressing

I'm a bit confused here. I have seen a lot of positive reviews on HD here, but not much on water-based. They look similar, but are they?

If not, can anyone outline the differences for me, please?

They are similar in the fact that they are both dilutable with water to vary the gloss. Water based dressing is only dilutable to 1:1 or ready to use for high gloss. Hyper Dressing can be diluted from 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4 for four different gloss levels. So with Hyper dressing you basically get 4 different dressing in one product after you dilute it.

is HD for tires only? or can you apply it to plastic trimmings?

Hyper dressing has many uses. You can use it for tires, plastic trim, rubber trim, interior trim, engine compartments.

Its a amazing product!

I have both and have used both. Don't see too much of a difference for the price besides the dilutions levels?
