  • X-Press Wax

Searched, but could not find the answer...

Does x-press wax have an cleaning power? I am hoping not, as I would like to use it as a booster over NXT.

Or...would the preference be be to use the NXT spray?

    Re: X-Press Wax

X-Press wax doesn't have any cleaning power, it is just a booster wax, like NXT Spray Wax.

Depends if you want to buy it in bulk or not? Is it for home use or a detailing business?

I have a feeling, though no proof, that X-Press would contain a little more wax than the spray waxes. Could be a super-booster wax maybe....

If you are not doing "Express Waxes" at a car wash or that type of work, Express Wax probably isn't your best bet. It's primary goal is for gloss, slickness and some protection in a specific environment.

If you are looking for a "booster" as you describe it, we would recommend either Quik Wax or NXT Generation Spray Wax since both of those are designed specifically for what you are looking to do.

As you know, we make a many of products for a wide variety of markets and people.

Express Wax D150 was created for specific use within the car wash industry. I am sure you have seen at car washes where you pay XXX dollars to have your car "expressed waxed" within 30 minutes or less while you wait....That is who this product was created for.

A few attributes they look for...

              Fast application
              Even faster wipe off
              Some gloss
              Some protection

With all that said, anyone can use Express Wax D150 with great results, but please understand, that product was created for a specific market/person/use.

              Does this help ?

                sounds good.

looks to me it is a similar product to duragloss aquawax.

does xpress wax have hydrophobic properties?

                    Re: X-Press Wax

I have been very pleased w/ the finish that Express Wax leaves on my vehicles. On my dark blue Jeep, the paint looks wet after I apply this wax, even more so than #21 2.0. I typically follow up w/ an application of UQD after the next wash, which provides more protection in my opinion. In fact, I would say that UQD is the best "booster" product out there. Easier to apply than a spray wax, lasts longer, and has the added benefit of hydrophobic polymer technology.
