Well, being cold and damp can make the products hard to apply and remove.....

But as long as you can get them on and off ok, you should be fine.

Try working in the sun during the day. Your car's surface wont be getting very hot anymore. As long as you can put your hand comfortably on the metal so it isn't too hot, you are fine.

My experience has been that temperatures above +4 C, (40 F) is about as low as it can get and still have good results with most products.
+10 C, (50 F) is better and the closer I can get to +15, (60 F), the better they seem to work.
Some of the problems I have include even application, drying time, removal without streaking. Seems to affect polishes, waxes, glass cleaners for me.

One thing you might consider is a portable heater for your garage. I use a 90,000 BTU torpedo style Kerosene heater and it works great. It doesn't have to run very long to raise the temperature to a point where the products are much easier to use. More comfortable to work in, too.
My garage is 24' x 32' so unless you have a real barn, it should work for you on many days. When the temperature drops below -6 c. (+20 F), I just wait for a warmer day. I can still heat the garage to working temperature, but it takes a lot of fuel to do it. Being a hobby detailer, I can afford to wait.
