#21 before or after NXT?

    #21 before or after NXT?

    I just washed and waxed my gals BMW 328. I was AMAZED at the results that I got from Meguiar's Polish and NXT 2.0.

    I have a bottle of #21 Mirror Glaze. Will this enhance the gloss? Or should this have been done prior to the NXT?

    In the past I got a result similar to this from days and days of work using Zaino and the goofy multi step/multi product hugely expensive system.

    Nothing else will ever touch the surface of my car's paint.

    Now notice how the reflection has coloration and depth

    The car looks excellent!

    I love the look of NXT/#21 on black as well. As for your question, the #21 is the professional version of NXT that is able to be applied via rotary. That's the only difference. So, in a nutshell...they're essentially the same product and should yield similar results.

      Thanks, I know this is getting overboard, but I took a video to show my girl what her car was looking like. So, here is the vid:

      I started with a wash on Sunday and Clay. Then polish and wax in one day. I do have a high speed buffer. want to preserve the work I have done as long as possible. Matter of fact, I'm keeping the car until I can figure out something.

                #21 and NXT are essentially the same thing? I thought that M21 was a synthetic sealant?

                      Question guys....can I apply NXT liquid wax using a rotary buffer with a finishing pad (W9000) set to the lowest speed aprox (250 rpm) and remove with a MF or terry bonnet on a polishing pad w8006 at a slightly higher speed say 600 rpm.?

                      or should I ideally use the #21

                      I already bought a bottle of the NXT liquid wax, but as I was reading this thread and realized that I may have bought a product not suited to rotary use.

                        While there are people on the board far more qualified to answer your question, that is how I did it. I put the product on with a rotary and yes, a finishing pad, then I take it off by hand.
