The velcro is about 1/2 off my megs backing plate. Didn't even use it that much and started coming off. Any suggestions on how to re-glue? Would megs replace?

Is this the DA backing plate?
I had mine fail a year ago. Give Customer Care a call. They were EXTREMELY helpful and replaced it without an issue.Chris
