  • Which Products to get???

I'm about to get the following:

    M83 - 32oz
    M80 - 32oz
    M81 - 32oz
    M82 - 32oz
    M21 - 16oz
    M26 - 1 gallon

Do I need 81 and 82 for maintenance? I'll be using a DA. Thanks

You're really spoil for choice. It all depends on what you gonna work on and your detailing goals. Running a detailing shop or a weekend warrior will definately differ in product going to be used and also the quantities you might want to stock up.

Out of curiosity, why 1 gal of M26?

BTW get some of the D151 or even the new 2.0 pads. Great stuff.
(Mike, I'm not pushing sales here)

    Hope this helps

Maybe some #7 Show Car Glaze (a pure polish).

I'm just gonna be a weekend warrior...
1 gallon because I'm going to get this overseas... is that too much...?

I'll get the 2.0 pads next after getting first these stuffs and work the existing pads.

any particular type of a car(s), as #83 and #80 with the right pads will get the correction done on most, the wax and sealant are (21 and 26) are ok, The #81 + #82 i am unsure (i have never used them) but say if you carry on with the 2 bucket method, barely any swirling will return (some paints are scratch sensitive) and the minority of them would could be done with #80 and a finishing pad. but in the interest of the least aggressive method #82 could be considered with the finishing pad, then polishing... etc. I see that #81 is a hand applicator polish (if you are applying by DA then this is prob not needed)

I'm going to use this on a green mitsubishi lancer. I carry with the 2 bucket method, say after finishing with the 83 and 80, 21 and 26, is it ok to maintain using 82 and 26 every other weekend?

yeah thats good then, most japanese paint tends to be soft (this is an assumption as u can never say until work on it), but i think using #82 every 2 weeks would be a bit excessive, it would only need this if the swirls or scratches re-occur, or for any random isolated damage. As for #26 that can be used as you like.
