Ok so here is my background.. 2001 Audi TT, it is red with minor swirls. I have been using the Gold Class Shampoo/Wash then using the Consumer line Gold Class liquid wax and taking it off by hand.
I would like some information on #21 and #26, i hear that #21 is a great wax that lasts a long time and protects very well and that #26 is a great wax for reds and gives a much deeper shine but wont last as well. I was told by other people that I could put the #21 on first and then #26.. would this be the best way to go ? Will it hurt each other, give a nice finish, last, keep swirls away.. ?
The car is never garaged and is subjected to sun in North Carolina. I usually like to give the car a good wash/shampoo every week to keep everything off and keep it shinning and dont mind waxing it every 2-4weeks either, which leads me to believe that #26 would be my best bet, but i hear that if i put #21 then i can leave it on for about 4-6months and do intervals of washing every week and a new coat of #26 every 3-4weeks ?
Would anyone be able to tell me if this is a good plan ?
thanks in advance!
