The M-2808 All Metal Polish in the Professional Line has a diminishing abrasive in it to remove oxidation off of surfaces like aluminum.
Instead of using this product for a clear coated wheel, Meguiar's would recommend using a product intended for use on clear coat paint like a paint cleaner, or a cleaner/wax.
