  • Rubber floor mats?

What would be a good finisher to put on rubber floor mats? M40, Hyper Dressing or All Season Dressing? Or something else?

I just clean them really well regularly using APC (10:1) and don't dress them at all, don't want my foot to slide (accidents could happen)

Just wash them real good and let them alone.

Hmm.... you don't really want them to be slick or slippery, so whatever you use you should be sure to wipe any excess off.

M40 is water based and might work for what you want, but again it is vitally important that after applying any dressing to a rubber floor mat that you thoroughly wipe off any excess to make sure they are not slippery.

Not sure if our Quik Interior Detailer would dramatically improve the way a rubber floor mat looks but it won't leave the surface slippery.

How about just washing them and drying them and going with the natural rubber look?

I washed them with APC I thought they looked great lol but my neighbor wanted to know if I could "shine" them up. I will tell him it could cause a danger factor if his foot slips I really don't wanna be help accountable. I didn't even think of that happening thank you.

Back in High School my 1948 Plymouth Coupe had vinyl seats that were one large piece of vinyl over the seat, smooth an flat with no seams or stitching.

Back then I would put Armor-All on them to make them look good and it did make them look good and shiny black! Then when driving around a corner you would slide over to the other side.

kind of funny for the passenger's in the back, kind of dangerous for the guy driving!

Certainly don't want slippery floor mats, pedals or steering wheel.
