  • Is changing quick detailer worth it ?

    Hello all.

I am currently using "Final Inspection" as a quick detailer.

The main use is for getting any dust off a daily driver every second day or so, and trying to get it to shine every day.

Now to get "final detail" i have to by a couple months worth of supply, as they only keep the very large size here where I live. Also it costs quite a bit more.

Is it worthit for me to change to "final detail" ? Does it bring the shine out much better ? oe should I stick with "final inspection"

    Thanks for your input

    Hi glossy,

    Welcome back.

I'm not sure how much Final Detail your distributor has in South Africa, but up here in the U.S. that product has been replaced with Last Touch

Both are exceptional quick detailers. I would say that from everything I have ever read on both of these products, compared to Meguiar's Quik Detailer, and Final Inspection, most people like the Detailer version better for gloss and slickness. Pricer per ounce is usually less when you purchase in large quantities like gallon and 5-gallon containers, at least in the U.S., I don't know what the situation is like in S.A.

About the only way you're ever going to know is to get your hands on some and try it.

That said, Meguiar's Quik Detailer and Final Inspection are awesome quick detailers and they'll never disappoint you.

Here's a link to Meguiar's new Detailer Line,

    Hope this helps...

I use FI mainly for QDing with a hint of cleaning ability while I use FD and soon, LT, strictly for gloss enhancement

I think Final Detail and Last Touch both bring out more gloss than Final Inspection or Quik Detailer. I think I might like Final Detail the best as it seemed less prone to streaking than Last Touch does.

          Hey,

I use #34 Final Inspection as a claying lubricant and priming my buffing pads. However, for more "pop" and gloss, the new Meguiar's Last Touch is the best IMHO!!
