M105 Pad Question?

Hello all,

I was wondering what types of pads are recommended for use on the rotary with M105 can a standard W8006 pad be used with it?

I have used the So1o wool pads with M105 and they work well.

M105 is an aggressive compound designed and formulated to be used with a wool cutting pad. Some people have tried it with foam pads and had good luck with the results but it's definitely something you want to do a Test Spot with before going over the entire car.

Here's a quote from the above thread...

M105 can be used with a foam cutting pad on a rotary buffer. It is optimized for use with a wool cutting pad on a rotary buffer but can be used with a foam cutting pad on a rotary buffer.

Remember the market this product is designed for and formulated for and that's the body shop industry where typically guys are sanding down fresh paint and then removing their sanding marks using a wool pad on a rotary buffer.
