I had a crazy idea. it all started when a friend of mine just go new sneakers in which he got dirty in about a day. this are the black leather that are hard to keep clean. out of no where i had a thought. if i cleaned them up and put on either ASD or Rich Leather Cleaner and Conditioner i bet that would look very nice. well luckly i had a pair of test subjects at home before i actually did his. so i took a test sneaker and cleaned it with APC and then treated it with ASD to see what would happen. it look amazing at first untill i noticed it seemed the shoe just absorbed all of it. so i figured ok ill try something thicker so i wiped out the leather product. so far so good, the shoe looked clean and it gleamed. i wonder how it will put up with the element such as the everyday dirt and grime, and even all the rain we've been getting. it would be neat to see if it actually put slight water repelling coat on top for about a shower or 2.

Re: Anyone ever thought of this?
today id tryed out some more sneaks and put on asd topped with consumer line aersol exterior detailer. the sneaks are soooo shiny. they look like dress shoes now. now i dont no if i should instead of doing that, just keep coating on asd or leather product on there because id rather stick to the professional stuff on the shoes lol.- INKO'S
