  • Can #7 be topped with #20 Sealant

Could not find a clear answer with search.

Can I apply the #20 Polymer Sealant over the #7 Show Car Glaze?
Will the oils in the glaze affect the sealants ability to bond?

Also, does anyone know the shelf life of #7 and #20? Mine are probably 2-3 years old...

While the wax listed in the subject of this thread is NXT, the principals apply to any Meguiar's paint protection products, i.e. waxes and sealants.

Do Glazes/Fillers affect the bonding of NXT?

A variation of your question would be the below thread...

A question on wax bonding and the potential for interference by a quick detailer?

The nutshell answer is that you will never walk out into your garage the day after you've waxed our car to find the wax has somehow slipped off the paint and is now piled out on the garage floor around the car.

You can typically expect Meguiar's surface care formulations to retain their full effectiveness for three to five years, as long as the container has been sealed tightly, and has not been frozen.

Always shake Meguiar's liquid products well before using, especially if they have been sitting for an extended period of time.
