no. 66 is more aggressive than no. 6.

While I have never tried the #6, I have had great success with the #66. IMHO its a overlooked product. Great stuff.

So which one I should use to maintain a car after polishing. lets say 2month after polishing? #6 cleaner wax or #66 quick detailer?

is #66 great for new car from dealers?

Re: Difference between #6 and #66

I'd go #6, unless you wash aggressively and need the polishing benefits of #66.

#66 is a good first base for new cars if they've been on the lot for a while and have had 'in situ' washes by some budget employee. That sort of washing can leave a bit of cobweb swirling. You just have to evaluate it on a car-by-car basis.

But in my experience, every new car needs a clay and, atleast, a prewax cleaner step before waxing.

#6 would be fine for maintaining a daily driver, so would A12 Cleaner/Wax.

A12 has been around since 1973, must be doing something right...

How are you treating the paint after you're done?

                Inquiring minds want to know?

Im working on new car. brand new from dealer. and my goals are make the cars looked better (flawless and have high gloss). we applied with rotary buffer and 8006 pad.

and the other question, which one better to maintain a car that has been detailed for 2 months. assumed it with bad technique of washing. is #6 or #66 better?
