    For light to moderate scratch and swirl marks wich one will remove them by hand?

    Both can, but ScratchX would be the better choice.

          I use scratchx by hand .As i did not get my car perfect yet i follow by DC 2 pure polish , it feeds the paint and hides swirls i then coat with wax.

              The newer ScratchX and #9 can both be used by DA. By DA, ScratchX would also be the stronger cleaner.
