Best Wax

I am wanting to know what is the best overall wax with taking into consideration protection and shine. Right now I use scratch X (I am looking at getting the medallion paint cleaner when my scratch x is empty) then I use the show car glaze as a polish and top with Gold class wax. I have read that a lot of you are using the professional products and topping it off with the tech wax. Is this the best overall wax or what?

I personally like the NXT Tech Wax a lot, it looks really good on my Metallic True Blue. One thing I learned very recently though, 2 thin coats look a lot better than one, with one I sometimes get a little bit of haze, but after the next coat, not only does it remove easier, there is no haze, and it looks nicer too. This is just my experience though, ymmv.

Choosing the best wax is not that easy as it depends heavily on the look you are after. Overall, I would say NXT Tech Wax would be your best choice after you have cleaned and polished the surface.

If you are after super reflective qualities, then I would say either #16 Paste Wax or #20 Polymer Sealant topped with #16.

My two personal favorites have to be either: 1. NXT Tech Wax x2

or

2. #20 topped with #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax.

There's no universal answer to this. Everyone has different paint, cars, criteria they look for, etc. However, since you're on a Meguiar's forum and mentioned durability and shine, I'd say look at #16, Medallion Premium Paint Protection, and #20.

By shine I don't know if you really mean just the reflectivity, or "shine" as in a really good look. #16 is quite reflective, as is MPPP, though both also have some more rounded gloss and depth too. I've never personally used #20. #20 is probably the most likely one to be found locally.

best wax? Well For ME: #26 yello tech wax followed with S100 (other brand motorcycle wax)

or 2 coats NXT tech wax

NXT is stunning, shiney, also very durable, seems to make my red a little bit Brighter, and people will try to run their sticky jelly fingers on it - trust me ugh

#26 makes warm beautiful shine seems to make my red deeper to me-- my coworkers rave over it after Ive put a coat on.
