When word came out awhile ago about #38 going bye bye I bought 6 boxes worth.

That sounds like me alright I have hoards of stuff because I was afraid of not getting anymore. I figure the gallons worth I just ordered will take care of me for a little while

as mike mentioned.... there is WaxWorks (951-734-0947) in Norco, California that has some. sadly, Pete (owner) had passed away a few weeks ago, and the family is keeping it open for him. please support this shop, they have all the megs products you'll ever need, and then some!

Yes, it has been discontinued.

Why?

Because you didn't buy enough to keep it in production.

This seems to happen to all the very nice, but limited in use, products Meguiar's makes. I guess I'd better try to track down another bottle, and put it next to my extra bottle of Engine Kote... I love #38, but I use maybe 1/4-1/2 of an ounce at any given time on the exterior of the 'vette (the only car with exterior plastic trim). And it lasts so long I only do that 2-3 times a year. Do the math and it takes 21 1/3 years to use up a 32 ounce bottle that way.

Any chance in twenty years you'll re-introduce the classics?

The new Hot Shine Tire Gel is very similar to #38.

This is crazy, no more #38, what is the world coming to? It's the only product that works well and lasts a long time. I did my shutters outside my house with #38, full afternoon sun, my neighbor asked if I painted them. A few months later he asked if I kept re-applying #38, I said, no, the stuff works, not like Meguiars consumer products. Please bring back #38, just put in smaller bottles so we have to buy more often.

This product has been discontinued for about 2 or 3 years now.

stick to Gold Class Trim Detailer, M40, All Season Dressing or even the new Supreme Shine Protectant.

Wow, if you want the best products from Meguiars, just get what they discontinue. The best wax ever is #16, luckily I stashed a lifetime supply.

Barry Meguiar should interview us on Car Crazy and see what his loyal customer's really want.
