  • Problem with M83 drying out too quick?

I just washed and clayed the wife's Isuzu Rodeo. Single stage paint I believe. The issue I'm having is the M83 seems to be drying to the paint. Even with short polish cycles the PC. I can get it off with the MF towels, but it is taking a LOT of effort. When I did my Elise it was nowhere like this.
Could this happen because the car hasn't been waxed in about a year or so?
    Any other ideas?
