What is this: Meguiars product - D12119 Glass Cleaner?

Searching around on Meguiars.com in the detailer line I found:

Anyone know what it is, well I know what it is glass cleaner. Maybe I have seen it just didn't know, any photos of the product?

Works good. I dont have the regular D-Line glass cleaner to compare it to yet.

Same as the D12001 glass cleaner but instead of a concentrate that you dilute and put in a sprayer it comes ready to use in aerosol cans and it's a foam, so no overspray. It works great.



Considering that the other big names in commercial glass cleaners (Sprayway, Stoner) are aerosols I think it's an excellent marketing move.

I have used the regular detailer line glass cleaner and heard of the aerosol, but does the aerosol perform any differently or does it work just as well?

I don't know if they changed the formula to help it foam or not. As far as I could tell it's the same, just a different dispenser.

Im trying to do the math to figure out which one is cheaper...maybe I should pay attention in math class and this calculation would go a little faster

1 Gallon of Concentrate = 11 Gallons of Usable Cleaner
128oz of Concentrate = 1,408oz of Usable Cleaner
1 Gallon of Concentrate = $15.49
$15.49/1,408oz = $0.011/oz of Usable Cleaner

Aerosol
19oz for $2.99
$2.99/19 = $0.15/oz

So the Concentrate is cheaper, just personal preference from there on..

I was going to post the retail calculation but I'd buy it from ADS too so we'll go with yours.

Buying the concentrate and doing the dilution is a lot less expensive per ounce but the aerosol offers speed and convenience, which can overshadow material cost in a high throughput operation. They're easier to toss in your trunk too.

Anyone tried the regular D-Line concentrate with a foaming sprayer? Just wondering if it would foam. I don't have any, otherwise I would test it out. I wouldn't think it would work, but who knows.
