Just prior to the Barret-Jackson Auction we were contacted by the owner of the Super Snake. The owner had a major issue with a few panels and needed Meguiar's help urgently.
Stephanie DeAnda, our Southwest Regional Manager, drove up to evaluate the vehicle and it looked like the painter had buffed all but one part of the car and there were deep swirls, scratches and light sand marks. Since the paint was still fairly fresh, Stephanie started and finished using our new So1o System. She also worked the Solo system on the 3 surrounding panels where needed. She removed all of the imperfections using Solo. She even cleaned up the Mag wheels with our new Mag and Aluminum Polish. The owner also wanted her to touch the engine as well
When the owner saw the car, they both were very pleased. In fact, his actual comment was "You are a gift from GOD!"
The day before the auction, the owner drove the car with 2 police escorts and a video crew to the Auction just a few miles away. When it arrived our Special Events Team wiped it down and took care of it over the weekend. The car also received a final wipe down just before it went up on the block.
It was a team effort by many people here at Meguiar's to help in make this car shine at the show...It looked great !
Of course...on Saturday it broke all sorts of records for an American car at Auction and went for $5.5 Million.
