#7 doesn't dry white as I recall #5. Don't let it dry. Do a panel or two and wipe with a 100% cotton terrycloth towel to cut the haze and remove the the excess product then follow with a MF to remove the rest and buff to a shine. Great results.
Meguiar's #5 New Car Glaze is designed for areas with higher humidity. As such, as was mentioned, it dries white. Whereas Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze doesn't really dry but rather "skins" over.
