    Hey,

I tend to agree with RB about the application of #81. It is a step that I always use! It just adds that little extra "pop" to the paint!

The alternate: use the #7 before #26, NXT or sth like that.

Cool I think I got my answer from this thread but ill ask to make sure. I just ordered some 83,80, and 26 would it be ok to go from the 83,then 80, and then 26 right? Is that fine and should there be anything else I need to do. I already have some LC pads that came with my PC kit so I was going to use a orange pad with the 83, white with the 80 and the blue with the 26. Someone said to use the #7 b4 the 26 but if the 80 is a polish also I dont see why I would need too? Thanks guys this seems like a great forum!

83, 80 AND 26 Is a fine combo. 80 does have a lot of polishing oils and it really does eliminate the need for #7 before you wax.
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

            Re: #80 Speed Glaze

#7 is a pure polish, #80 is a cleaner/polish. So #80 will have enough oils to make the paint look good, but not as much as #7. So #7 would be optional, kind of that last, extra step if you really wanted to get the best looks possible.

Also, try #80 first on a test spot, to see if it is all you need. If not, then go up to #83 for your car, then back down to #80.

            1. Wash
            2. Clay
            3. #80 Test spot.
            4. Either #83 or #80 for you car, finishing with #80.
            5. Optional - #7
            6. Wax

as Murr mentioned try M80 first because you want to use the least aggressive product first.'

                all the best.

I used this b4 with a gray 3m foam pad and it did not remove all my swirls not sure how it compares to the 80 though. http://multimedia.mmm.com/mws/mediaw...66SvAMc7rrrrQ-
1 more thing is it a good practice to mist the pad with water b4 you apply the product I heard that somewhere.
