  • which apc or degreaser?

i'm going to start detailing my truck along with a couple other peoples show trucks/car for the upcoming show season. my question is what apc or degreaser would you guys recomend for engine bays, white lettered tires, and painted under carrages? also what dilution ratio should i use? most will probaly range from heavy dust to light dirt accumulation. also is the hyper dressing safe to use on just about all surfaces? vinyl, rubber, and plastic trim? i'm thinking of buying it for engine bays and wheel wells. also what dilution ratio should i use? i know most of the people will want a medium to high gloss.

    thanks for any info

i have seen apc used to degrease engines clean wheels and tires, clean leather, clean carpets ... basicly everything but paint work

i think you can use it 4:1 or 10:1 depending on the use but you are the judge of how much cleaning power you need

dilute hyper dressing (originally posted by Mike Pennington)
    1:1 High Gloss
    2:1 Medium - High Gloss
    3:1 Low - Medium Gloss
    4:1 Low Gloss

so you guys think i would be better off using an old wash mitt or brush and just using car soap to clean the painted under carriages?

after doing some reading i think i have decided to go with the safe degreaser. since i'll mainly be using it for wheel wells, tires with white letters, and engine bays. my question is what dilution ratio should i use for each step(tires, wells, engines)? hopefully one would work best for all three and then i'll only need to keep one bottle of it.

                thanks for any info
