  • Getting M21 onto my black pad

    Hi All,

Just received my jug of M21.. I'm excited and can't wait to try it out this weekend.

No doubt i'm using my DA polisher..

My question is, what is the best method of getting it onto my black pad or on the panel ?

Its in a jug so pouring directly is awkward and may exceed the amount ?

I was simply going to use a popsicle stick and wipe on it like butter on bread ?

    Suggestions ?

Um...how about transferring some into a smaller container? Meguiar's sells dispensing containers specifically for this purpose, or you can try the cosmetics departments at WalMart or similar stores (for little bottles used for travel amounts of shampoos, etc.), or there are a couple of big online stores for plastic products that sell a variety of products.

I prefer Meg's dispenser bottles since they're rugged and already have labeling

but I actually use sport-top water bottles more often. They work well and they're free. They're a bit flimsy but you don't need to re-use them if you don't want to. There's always more available.

(Just don't forget to tear off the label that says to drink the contents and mark it with what's really inside. )

Here is a quick fix youmight just like well enough to stick as put out by BondoKing

I know most everyone here already knows about the 50/50 mix and it is not my ideal, but the little bottles are great...Check out the pic. Next time you are at Walmart, grab yourself a few bottles of alcohol, and a spray bottle... Now mix a mixture of 50/50 water and alcohol and use this between compound, polish, glaze

Don't mistake my enthusiasm for experience.

when I use my sample of #21 I shake it up good but it seems like it just wants to squirt out what looks like water for the first few squirts then the purpole liguid comes out, is this normal?

That doesn't sound right to me. M21, after shaking it up, should have a uniform, purple color and have a thin, but lotion like consistency.
