    Citra-Gel No more? And whats up with Silicon FreeD?

    Hey guys,

    I dont know what Im going to do if this is true. I was told by a local supplier today (not mine, closed on Sats) that Citra-Gel has been discountued from Meguiars Professional Lineup. What the!?!?! I use Citra-Gel for a number of procedures in my detailing, and it is the safest cleaner I can use on custom wheel applications I deal with frequently. PLEASE tell me this isnt true?

    Secondly, Did Meguiars recently change the formula of Silicoln Free Dressing? I just went through my final 5 gallon jug of it and re-orderd. The silicoln free I just recieved has a strong fruity scent, and it is foaming (slightly) when sprayed. The past 3 5-gallons Ive used had a non-fruity smell (but very noticable) and did not foam at all what so ever. Did I get a bad batch? OR is this the new stuff?

    Citri Gel was discontinued about a year ago. Check with your local suppliers and stock up on citri gel. Also, serch for post from Showtime as he has five gallons of Citri gel for sale.

      Holy cow, where have I been?!?! Ive been buying Citra-Gel by the boat loads from my supplier for a long time (over a year).

        That whole old detailer line has been discontinued for roughly 1.5 years due to VOC laws. The cross over item for Citri-Gel and Silicone Free Tire Dressing is our
        Safe-Degreaser (D10501) @ 10:1 dilution and Silicone Free Dressing (D16101).
