If you bring it back, it would likely be a hit if you also offered a Rubber remover spray (tire and cone rubber). The bug and tar doesn't work that well, so people turn to your competitors products.

Yes, this product is being phased out. It’s a great and unique offering, but unfortunately, it never quite caught on, even though we kept it around for quite a while. I’ll make sure to document your feedback internally—thank you for sharing it.

At this time, we recommend either our Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax Spray or the Hybrid Ceramic Waterless Wash & Wax. As you probably know, these won’t match the cleaning power specifically needed for heavy wheel and tire grime, but they are commonly used on wheels for lighter cleaning tasks.

    Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere - 26 oz.

Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Waterless Wash & Wax - 24 oz.

Ultimate Waterless Wheel & Tire is designed completely differently than G3626 or D115. Ultimate Waterless Wheel & Tire is designed for wheels, yes, but, even more so, is designed to clean contaminants that a user encounters on wheels, especially brake dust. So that is what makes it much different than Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax (G3626) or D115, what it is designed to clean.

I have been doing a weekly session with this on both cars sing the Insane Tire shine and will continue to do so. I have run a test of just the wheel and tire on my wifes car which dosent get used as much as mine and the results speak for themselves in that the added application of Insane shine really helps with the shine and durability. It only takes another few minutes to apply the Insane shine.

I have matte black wheels. If this product leaves a "shine" on tires will it also do the same to my wheels or will it wipe off clean?

Great to hear you are enjoying our Ultimate Waterless Wheel & Tire! To answer your question regarding whether or not you need to use an additional tire shine product, a dedicated tire shine, like Ultimate Insane Shine, is a more premium tire shine option. In the case of Ultimate Insane Shine, just like you mentioned, yes, more shine, more longevity.

It did get picked up, and as you know, different retailer's set up their new item selections at different times

You should begin to see it showing up on brick & motor shelves soon at Walmart and Pep Boys and potentially other regional outlets.

I don't see this for sale at Walmart, AutoZone, Advanced Auto, or PepBoys, the only places I see are of course the Meguiar's store, Amazon, and the online detailing stores. Did this not get picked up by the normal brick-and-mortar chain stores so that I could pick it up in my travels?

Ohh this is exactly what I was looking for! I waterless wash my car 90% of the time and I never know what to use for the wheels/tires.

Should be no issue following up on the wheels with Xpress wax? If one were to use a canned Foam tire cleaner that would probably be done before this?

Yes, you hit the nail on the head. That is exactly the design of this product.
To be more specific, Ultimate Waterless Wheel & Tire does not provide much cleaning for the tires. It cleans wheels in a waterless application, and will leave the tires dressed & shiny.

Many of us here at Meguiar's were also skeptical, but it works quite well. Certainly would not want to use your best microfiber towels because they will become very dirty, but it interesting, when going to wash & clean the towels which were used with this product, the cleaners from the product that remain in the towels, actually work to enhance the cleaning ability when in a washing machine.
