    Re: Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish

Nick--is the durability of of UFF impacted by the Wax or Sealant used under the UFF?

I assume you'll get a multitude of answers depending on how the responder feels about "layering." Some will say that you will just remove the 1st layer and others will say you are just making sure you have complete & even coverage.

I fall into the latter. I don't believe there will be any "thickening" of the UFF coating, rather I think that you will just even up the low spots & missed areas so you will have a consistent layer of UFF on the entire surface of the car.

I also believe that if you wanted to do a 2nd application, you should wait 24 hours, so you don't remove any of the previous layer since like dissolves like, and if the first layer isn't 'cured' you may just be removing it by applying more UFF.

This is just my opinion, maybe one of the other more experienced guys will jump in.

Yes, Ultimate Fast Finish can absolutely be used over & in addition to your existing LSP. In fact we are recommending if you are looking to maximize gloss & the best protection we offer, the ideal combination now would be to polish, wax, and then Ultimate Fast Finish.

In case anyone didn't know, it is available now!

thanks! must have missed that reply yesterday when I went over the thread. Looks like I will be trying this new product once the rain/weather cooperates. My bottle of NXT2.0 is almost gone and I never got to try the ULW.

The lowest temperature we recommended is 55 degrees Farhenhit.
