What "different" things? Don't they both last long and result in a great shine?
Well, maybe "do" isnt the right word, but seem different. The Fast Finish goes on very fast, they say protects for a long time. But doesnt have the deep shine or the slick feel on the surface for very long.
The Ult Wax takes a little more effort, but keeps a deep shine and slick surface for a longer time. And with the surface staying slicker, UQW seems to apply easier after future washes.

But doesn't the shine have as much or more to do with the condition of the paint and prep work before applying it? The claying and polishing. I couldn't tell that one shines any better than the other, plus why is a slick feel important?
Can I use Fast Finish on a ceramic coated vehicle. It's 7 years old and hasn't been maintained due to lack of knowledge about maintenance about ceramic coating except for washing, detailing, etc.
If the coating is 7 years old, I doubt there would be much left of it anyway!
Even if not, I've heard of people using UFF on top of coatings without any issues...

I own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Agreed. You can go straight to using UFF, but, it would be good to evaluate for above surface contaminants & below surface defects, and address them, at the very least, address any above surface contaminants by using detailing clay. Below is a good basic article in case you need more info to reference:
Thanks guys for your response. I do wash and clay bar the vehicle (Chevy Tahoe). Prep the surface best way I know how. I've done this on my Vette also but haven't used MUFF on it. With the onset of cold winter weather here in NH, car detailing is on hold til spring. Anxious to give FF a go on both when warmer weather comes back..😊
Hi Don W, FF is an excellent product bar none. It matches most if not all of the coatings in the market that cost an obscene 100 to 200 times its price. Even if its longevity is 70 or 80 percent that of coatings , it is still a great product well worth its price. Do the math. And we haven't even start talking about how easy its application is - takes 5min to go round an average-sized car and you don't need magic hands to do it. Thumbs up!

Is this product going to be discontinued ? Its becoming very difficult to find online, and impossible locally. I think its one of your best products you have out there. I understand that in the ultimate line-up you're catering typically for the consumer who wanders past the isle in Walmart and says hmm i'll give that a go, and it may not be their cup of tea cos on the face of it, it may seem too quick and easy and therefore too good to be true for them??. But anyone researching detailing for a good product to use, will quickly come to the realization that this is one sealant to have in your arsenal for sure ! I'll sure miss it if it goes ! But hey you guys are always coming out with new products (HCW for example) so i'm sure there will be something to replace it. But it will be a shame !

I second that! I have been using it since it first came out and I still love it! It's so easy to use and provides real protection against the elements (I get a lot of bird droppings and it never ends up etching into the paint like I used to get with other products in the past) I bought a bunch of it when Walmarts in the US cleared it out last year and it worried me to see that, but it's still sold in Canadian Tire stores up here. If it gets discontinued I will drive to every Canadian Tire store in a half hour radius of my house and buy up everything they've got!

Thanks for your feedback guys. There are no plans that I am aware of as far as discontinuing. With that said, things change all the time regarding when & if a distributor carries a particular product.
