And by "very lightly spray" we mean exactly that. In fact, spraying a mist in the air and catching it with the towel is sufficient. Definitely don't over do it here. What happens is the polymers are still quite dynamic on the surface immediately after wipe off, and it they aren't pretty evenly distributed you may see some slightly darker patches because of it. That very lightly damp microfiber helps to shift things around, evening out the layer.

We hesitate to even mention this but we know some of you MOL folks are extremely particular about how things perform and you tend to notice very minute details. As you might imagine, if the above does happen it's going to be most noticeable on darker non metallic colors and under certain lighting or viewing angles. But the polymers are easily spread and the final result is fantastic!
This is EXACTLY the problem I have experienced with NXT 2.0 on primarilly black paint...your description of how it looks is right on...and your solution is good to see...the explanation I received in the past (over a year ago) was not that specific or accurate....having said that, I've debated moving away from NXT 2.0 to something else because of this "phenomenon" but now that UW is here, and will last longer than NXT 2.0 and is easier to apply and wipe off AND can get on trim with no problem, I anxiously look forward to my first test with UW...thanks Mike.

^^ FWIW I was experiencing the same thing with M21 on black paint. I tried Mike's method above and it works a charm!

...And it really isn't any extra work - I just consider it to be the final buff off - which I would have had to do anyway.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Mike, wondering how the UW will work on my bed cover which is made of Lexon. Manufacturer, recommends "wax with Carnuba". Thanks.

As long as the finish is smooth and glossy rather than any sort of matte and/or textured finish, you should be just fine. If the manufacturer is OK with a traditional carnauba wax being used on it, there is no reason why a pure polymer product couldn't be substituted.

On no...more bottles in the LSP collection.
                          #26 is a polymer/carnauba. UW is 100% synthetic.
You could put #26 on top of UW but why?

Do you like the look, feel, shine, durability etc of #26?
Give the UW a try and see what look/feel you like better?

I know my local autozone has it. I'm getting so excited for my pads and m105 m205 to get here so i can go buy some of this wax and try it. I've been a fan of the nxt and nxt 2.0 so I can't wait to try this UW. Wednesday can't come quick enough. And i get paid for it but thats just a bonus lol.

Been about 3 months for my car now and a couple days ago when parked in the rain, both sides are holding up fine (sorry, no pics it was dark) and the water droplet size looked identical on both sides.
